Unimportant journal. I mean like REEEEEEALLY unimportant. Skip it if you have better things to do

Hasn't happened rarely to me that people see my works on other pages and write me 'Hey, you are Deamond, right?', once even in real life (I drew something while sitting in a train and someone asked me if I was Deamond from Animexx xD) but so far there was always a line between me as a person know as Deamond and the OC Deamond that plays a role in my stories.

Okay, so what happened...

Since about half a year I got to a new hair-stylist as my old one rose prices and in my opinion was not worth the money anymore =/ Sooooo, I came to this new one and as I'm used to let my hair cut only by the chefs themselves (yeah, I'm a spoiled brat... and?? lol) I went right to the chef since then. I use to draw while getting my hairs cut and usually I go every 2 months... you just have to if you have middle-long hair -___-; Especially if you have hair as I do lol They are growing in absolutely EVERY single direction!!

I tend to draw while getting my hair cut and last time I went, I worked on a picture with several sketches of Deamond. The man cutting my hair was absolutely fascinated by his design and asked if it was alright if he kept the drawing. I said 'Sure thing' and left it with that, even forgot about it...

So today it was time to get my hair cut again... I went to the shop and sat down. He came and we had a small talk about how things are going, how my studies are doing and so on and afterwards he asked me what I want of course... So I just said 'I don't know, just as always I guess. I trust your experienced eye.' Then he asked me if I really did trust him and that he wanted to try something out on me since last time... Gulping I said okay. I mean, come on, he is the pro! Anyone has their specialties and he wouldn't be called the pro-hair-stylist of my town if he wasn't that good! Was really funny! He made me close my eyes and glued these sleep-mask-things over my eyes so I couldn't look... Man, my heart was going wild, I tell you!! xD From time to time I heard people talking with him. Things like 'What are you doing?' 'Damn that looks wild!' one wanted to startle me and said 'What? That short? Are you sure it will match? Come on, this looks hilarious!' T_T lol

So the moment finally came in which he said he was done. I unmasked myself, looking at the mirror. My jaw clapped open! I stared into the mirror and my hair wasn't that much shorter, but it had a clear new cut and was styled backwards up a little with the front-hair hang wildly down.

The long bangs on the side are missing but I recognized right away that it was Deamond's haircut


He told me that ever since he saw that picture last time, he had thought that that hair-cut would suit me so well, he wanted to test it out. xD

To get the hair up like when I first saw it I need gel and all, so I probably won't wear it exactly that way very often, but man, that was one funny experience It is true. No risk, no fun... lol


It is really a weird feeling to look into the mirror and seeing 'your creation' staring back at you I mean, when i created Deamond years back, I designed him after myself as my first OC but since then I refined him, gave him his own personality, changed him, gave him a background-story, etc.... and now, over 7 years later I look into the mirror and see him again. In some way I think I put a piece of myself in all my characters. I want to live on within them, sharing a bit of my life with them to make them come to life, but -though it might sound really strange for people who don't share their full heart with their characters- today I got something from them

okay, isn't the first time someone told me someone stole my art, but THIS time it was really funny

A month ago, someone stated on my ElvenBeauty-Lineart that someone from a forum has stolen it. Ichecked it out...

That person (once again, no names. Don't want a flamewar to start...) had posted several linearts of different artist in her 'gallery' in a forum...

"Well, here are a few drawings I did... Please tell me waht you think of them. Please dont steal them. Thx" <- LOL!!!


Nya, doesn't make it any special you say? What makes it so funny is the whole story behind it xD

So she posted this on her page along with linearts which's style didn't match at ALL with each other! OF COURSE it came out! And the people on the forum blamed her, telling her that it was not right, etc... I myself registered on the forum to get my frustration some air and posted this comment:

Honestly, people like you are the reason I consider quitting posting my linearts so beginners can practice. You know, many artists post their linearts so others have it easier to improve. It is an offer to make life for people that want to become real artists easier. By stealing these works you shot yourself in your own leg! Because this kind of acting will result in watermarks, smaller files, etc that make it harder for people to steal, but on the same time impossible for using it for practice =/ Go get a life and either start drawing yourself or stop taking the praise for other people's work!

Just one thing that always made me wonder: If you get praise for something you didn't draw yourself, does this actually feel good?!

... Okay, issue was done for me as she had been reported and the users of the forum had told her that arttheft sucked... Good... Now today I had a conversation with my sister about art-theft after I saw someone reposting my Evin-Lineart here on DA. The person stated underneath it that the original artist was Deamond89, but without link or anything. The user didn't have my permission either, so I considered reporting it... My sister was shocked that I was that harsh even though the user stated my user-name... In the end I only wrote her to please remove my lineart instead of reporting...

Anyway, I explained to my sis, that after having seen so many times how people stole my work, I don't really make a difference between grave and not so grave cases any longer... and as example showed her the user from above.

It made me curious if she actually had learned out of it or not... so I looked at her profile and at forum-posts by her and saw that she had opened a new gallery... I took a look inside and was rather bemused.

She hadn't really learned out of it at all... xD

I seen the pics and drew them by looking at the pics, then I colored them in.

Err, ya... sure... That's why some of them look as if they were done by 10 year olds and others that could have been done by pros Suuuuuuure thing...

Oh, remember how I said 'If you get praise for something you didn't draw yourself, does this actually feel good?!' on my comment before? She wrote this on another comment:

'It feels nice to get praise for your own work.'



OF COURSE THEY NOTICED SHE WAS LYING AGAIN AND OF COURSE THEY BLAMED HER AGAIN!!! BUT I'M CURIOUS IF SHE WILL EVER LEARN OUT OF IT SO I WILL KEEP AN EYE ON HER!!!

What others posted:
"I'm not gonna lie. Some of them look like they were traced since they're distinctly different from your other drawing styles. Your Sesshomaru ones look traced and what hints to that is the sudden cut-off in the picture and it being dead-on straight. That's what usually hints to a tracing. That and the detail of the body structures in certain positions suddenly went from stiff and ridged to smooth and natural. I dunno if you're doing what I used to do in Middle School when I was no good with body layouts and just tracing the positions and whatnot just to see what you have to do and just to work on attire and appearance detail or if you were actually tracing to decieve.

Of course, I believe the first idea that you're just using it to practice 'cuz I used to do that all the time when I was real uncomfortable with body language and positioning and just felt like drawing hair, faces, and clothes."

What she answered: No they were not traced, I just cut it off because I was well drunk and lazy lol


lol Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, that sounds like it could be the solution to it all xD

Just thought I ight share my bemusement about the stupidity of some people xD

Christmas is almost over again~ And man, for me it was a great one

I like being with my family and as all of them were together this year, it was really cool!

Oh, and looky!!! ;w; x3



So, but now to the topic... I wanted to do this a while ago already and I can't remember anymore why I didn't Soooooo, I'd like to show you four cool artists I got to know on the :icondevmeet-stuttgart.

They are not only great persons but also cool artist which you shouldn't miss!


When I met him I could have smacked him T_T Why? Cause I have to draw so many helplines to get my dynamic poses and he just starts with the real thing as if it was nothing! My congratulations on such skills! ^^



Another cool artist with great potential! I can't believe he is that good with a MOUSE! I would die if I had to do these things with a mouse... after all it takes way longer if you want to get to the same level or goal... Oh and cause he's studying something with graphics, he is perfect in drawing circles!! Sorry, I HAD to add that xD

When I saw her on the devMeet she wore that awesome costume! She was dressed as a gothic maiden x3 Hehe~And her style is very neat too! I like her compositions as they are really unique! x3 Keep up the awesome work, girl!! >:3

Whaaaa! Forget the stupid last journal! I'M SO HAPPY!!! ;w;

No, didn't find my bag yet, but... I just got the very first SecretSanta-Picture of my WHOLE LIFE!!!!

is an artist I really love! Her composition and way she draws characters in different angles with dynamic and all... I couldn't have wished for anyone else drawing me something! ;w; And now look at THIS!!!!!

My family and I were eating on a 9kg roasted turkey this evening xD I'm stuffed... Afterwards we got presents... Additionally to the already promised print I got a new pullover, a pair of gloves and a photo of my niece while riding one a horse (not a real one, a stuffed one xD) But it is so sweet x3

When I was at the church with my brother and sis this evening, there were kids performing the christmas-story... and one of the boys playing a farmer (you know what I mean xD Its Hirte in German but I can't find that word in my dictionary xDxD) Anyway, the guy wore a jeans and somehow it kept opening itself... He was so busy closing it all the time, the whole audience had to suppress their laughter xD I'm not really into church and faith and such, but at least on Christmas I got with my family there... and this year was so funny

I'm back home for Christmas finally! Was fun at my brother's house but...

I lost my DS-bag in the train!! ;o; All my games were in it!!! I didn't loose my DS and my Spectral Force-game luckily, but the other games are all gone ಥ﹏ಥ *cries* Just pray that the 'Bahn' finds it.... However gotta wait past Christmas >.<

Okay, things like these suck, BUT they happen in life. Time for some better mood:

Got my SS-gifts done in time and will upload them tomorrow x3 I'm really happy with them and can't wait to finally put them up xD I'm so eager!!!

Oh, and of course this evening it is time for presents! YAY!! (Yeah, in Germany, we get the presents in the evening of 24th instead of morning of 25th... No clue why, but... ya... xD) Got some really nice gifts for my brothers. My parents wished for a new photo of all of us children together, so they are getting a nice card and the photo as soon as the weather is better so we can make a nice one (so far my brother and his wife haven't been here so we couldn't make one after all...)

I already know what I get this evening... at least from my parents. They will print one of my works on acrylic glass!! I already decided that it will be my new cover! But as I haven't finished it yet, I gotta wait till it is done Maybe it will go perfectly when I move to my new apartment! (If I find one till then that is xD)
